axonX begins quarterly training classes for its SigniFire Video
Image Detection (VID) system.

MD (November 5, 2008) axonX LLC the worlds leading developer of
video-based fire, smoke & intrusion detection technology today is
pleased to announce that it will be providing free training classes on a
quarterly basis for its Factory Mutual (FM) approved SigniFire
IP Network Camera. axonX is the only company to have video-based fire
and smoke detection analytics embedded and operational on an IP Network
Camera. Classes will also be conducted at customer sites and as demand
dictates on a case by case basis.
The axonX certification training program consists of extensive technical
training in the use, application and installation of the
SigniFire line of products that
include the SigniFire IP
camera, FSM-IP NVR, SpyderGuard,
SpyderPanel and FSM-8. In addition, training will include basic network
setup, CCTV camera installation practices, NFPA codes and fire related
design considerations. An overview of IP video surveillance marketing
and sales oriented material will also be covered.
The purpose of the certification training is to provide the basic
materials and knowledge needed to sell, install, commission, and support
a SigniFire system. The
participant should leave understanding the limitations and applicability
for the technology as well as the techniques and tools necessary for
proper installation. The focus of the training is to ensure that the
end-user expectations are in line with what the SigniFire
system can deliver.
