NFPA
72 adopts changes to recognize video smoke and fire detection.
SPARKS, MD (July 1, 2006) –

detection technology today is pleased to announce that NFPA is
recognizing video image technology in the next revision of NFPA 72.
axonX submitted a proposal to the NFPA technical committee in 2005 to
include video imaging technology into the next revision of NFPA 72, the
national fire code. The proposal was recently approved at the 2006 NFPA
conference in Orlando and will be published later this October.
