“Johnson Controls offers an ideal distribution channel for axonX,” says
Mac Mottley, CEO of axonX. “The Johnson Controls building efficiency
business is one of the largest building automation, security and
fire safety integrators in the world. It is a world-class company
providing state-of-the-art security and wireless solutions to

certification of the product through listing agencies such as
Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and Factory Mutual (FM), and support
the Johnson Controls product launch through training and technical
assistance.
“Johnson Controls
is constantly monitoring the marketplace for solutions that help
customers protect their assets,” said Don Albinger, vice president
of fire and security product solutions at Johnson Controls. “Using
video technology to detect fire and smoke enables customers to

existing technology investments to help control lifecycle costs.”
Recently,
axonX—which is based in Baltimore City’s Emerging Technology Center

(TEDCO) Technology Transfer Initiatives grant. The $50,000 Aberdeen
Technology Transfer Initiative grant will fund the testing of the
axonX SigniFire™ Video-Based Fire Detection within the standards of
