The Problem
There are over 125,000 non-residential structure fires each year in the US alone that result in $3 billion of losses.  Most of these structures (over 72%) currently have no fire detection. The reason for that is, up until now, there has been no sound technology to address the detection challenges of large volume structures.  To initiate an early response, smoke detectors would have to be spread throughout the entire volume and this would simply be impractical.  Smoke stratification also adds to the ineffectiveness of ceiling mounted point detectors.  In addition, over 23% of these fires are proven or suspected arsons, a major security issue.

The Solution
SigniFire™ cameras can see and recognize smoke and flames overlooking large spaces at great distances, while providing video surveillance capabilities as a bonus.  It will detect fire in seconds, supply vital situational awareness in the form of live video to remotely located guards, trigger fire alarms, and provide vast amounts of pre-recorded video forensic evidence for future fire investigations.  SigniFire™ cameras can detect:

• Presence of flames within the field of view of the camera.
• Reflected fire light when flames are obstructed.
• Presence of pluming smoke clouds.
• Presence of ambient smoke.
• Unauthorized Intrusion.

SigniFire™ is deployed in conjunction with axonX's FSM-IP advanced Network Video Recorder (NVR) platform that can address immediate security needs of your organization. Large capacity internal storage provides continuous digital video recordings with instant access to current and archived events from virtually anywhere over local and public networks.
